Your implementation looks like it went well and like you didn't have any problems using the technology. In your reflection, you mentioned that you thought the technology was just an add on and that it wasn't really essential for the lesson. I wasn't there to see how you used the powerpoint in your lesson, but I think it probably added more value to your lesson than you think it did. I think displaying something on the screen to back up what you are saying usually adds value to your lesson. Maybe in the future you can increase the value added by having the students create a video trailer or a powerpoint on their book. You also mentioned that next time you would show some clips. I think these are all great ideas.
